Schools First Aid

This course covers emergency situations common in the school environment and is therefore ideal for teachers and other school support staff.

Course content

• The role of the first aider
• Managing an emergency
• Communication and casualty care
• Allergic reaction
• Asthma
• Auto injector
• Bleeding
• Bone, muscle and joint injuries
• Burns
• Choking
• Head injuries
• Poisoning
• Primary survey
• Resuscitation (all ages)
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty.

Course duration

Four hours.

Assessment and certification

Continuous assessment by trainer and a First Aid China Certificate, valid for 1 years, is issued on successful completion of assessment.
