Summer Camp First Aid Training

The Sinoaid Summer Camp First Aid Training Course is designed specifically for staff and participants in summer camps and various camp activities. The goal is to teach first aid and CPR skills to help camp participants prevent potential injuries, life-threatening situations, and assist in the transfer and transportation of injured individuals.

The Sinoaid First Aid for Day Camps and Summer Camps Training Program provides an overview of First Aid and CPR techniques for Day Camp Monitors / Counselors. The course covers the skills necessary to preserve life, prevent further injuries, and manage injury consequences until more advanced medical personnel arrive.

Course Duration: 8 hours

The course includes basic first aid, CPR, use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), use of an EpiPen, and techniques for transferring and transporting patients.

Target Audience: Any camp staff and participants involved in camp activities.

Course Preparation: The First Aid Training Program has no technical prerequisites, but participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing to facilitate hands-on practice.

Main Course Content:

• The emergency scene assessment
• Disease transmission prevention
• Managing the unconscious victim
• Airway obstruction management in children and infants
• CPR for children and infants
• The use of an AED and EpiPen
• Managing bleeding and shock
• Managing sudden illnesses, including asthma, allergies, diabetes, epilepsy
• Managing poisonings, bites, and stings
• Managing sprains, strains, and fractures
• Managing heat and cold injuries

Materials: Children's First Aid and CPR manuals and other materials can be provided upon request.
