Sinoaid Health Promotion Center Hosts Earthquake Disaster Prevention, Protection, and Mitigation Seminar to Enhance Employee Emergency Skills

September 3, 2024, Shanghai – In an effort to enhance employees' disaster prevention and response capabilities, the Sinoaid Health Promotion Center (Shanghai Sinoaid Health Promotion Center) hosted a specialized seminar on earthquake disaster prevention, protection, and mitigation for employees of Mou’s Trading Mouser Electronics on September 3. The training, which is part of Mouser Electronics’ 60th anniversary celebrations, aims to strengthen employees' safety awareness and emergency response skills, equipping them with effective self-protection and mutual assistance techniques for responding to sudden disasters such as earthquakes.

Mouser Electronics, founded in 1964, has long been a leading global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components. The company collaborates with over 1,200 renowned manufacturers to introduce cutting-edge products and technologies, ensuring efficient supply chain operations for customers worldwide. The earthquake prevention and mitigation seminar, as part of Mouser Electronics’ employee welfare initiatives, aims to raise employees’ awareness of disaster prevention and enhance their ability to respond to emergencies.

As the organizer of this training, Sinoaid Health Promotion Center has years of professional experience in first aid, CPR, and AED training. The center provides customized health promotion services to organizations of all sizes. Through this earthquake disaster prevention, protection, and mitigation seminar, the center helped employees of Mouser Electronics master basic earthquake safety and mitigation techniques. The seminar covered pre-earthquake preparedness, safe evacuation strategies, emergency response steps during and after earthquakes, and disaster reduction methods, ensuring that employees can stay calm and take effective actions during a disaster.

The seminar also addressed how to assess the danger zone during an earthquake, how to choose safe evacuation locations, and how to carry out post-earthquake emergency rescue and mutual aid. Using interactive teaching methods, Sinoaid’s instructors helped employees better understand earthquake prevention techniques, disaster mitigation strategies, and the importance of emergency response, while enhancing their ability to respond to emergencies and work as a team.
