Sinoaid Health Promotion Center Provides Full-System English-Supported First Aid and Health Safety Services for Yenching Academy of Peking University

In September 2024, Sinoaid Health Promotion Center delivered comprehensive, English-supported campus safety and first aid services to Yenching Academy of Peking University. These services included first aid, health, and safety orientation for new students, first aid certification training for student safety officers, and AED management services with regular equipment audits. Yenching Academy is an elite interdisciplinary program at Peking University offering a Master’s in China Studies, bringing together students from around the world for immersive cultural and academic experiences.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the services:

1. First Aid, Health, and Safety Orientation (Delivered in English): The orientation was provided in English to help new students familiarize themselves with emergency procedures and safety practices. It focused on essential first aid knowledge, health maintenance, and safety protocols on campus, ensuring that students are prepared to handle medical emergencies and stay safe in their new environment.

2. First Aid Certification Training for Student Safety Officers (Delivered in English): This training equipped student safety officers with crucial life-saving skills such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
